The world's biggest vehicle management and leasing provider, LeasePlan, has granted Lorica its "LeasePlan Award for Innovation 2009", for Lorica's Innovative approach and long running relationship in managing the group's employee benefits.
LeasePlan operates in 30 countries and has 1.3 million customers globally. With more than 570 employees in the UK LeasePlan knows it is vitally important to reward its employees with a first class benefit offering.
Graham Rixon, operations director at LeasePlan commented: "These inaugural LeasePlan Supplier Excellence Awards recognise those companies that truly lived the LeasePlan ethos in 2009, and helped the company to a successful year in the midst of wider market turbulence. The company maintained its market share, won a number of notable new contracts, achieved record customer service figures and continues to develop the services it offers - all achievements made possible through strong supplier partnerships".
The award was presented to John Russell-Smith, a Client Director at Lorica, at a recent Supplier Conference. He commented: "We have been working closely with LeasePlan for several years and this award reflects the degree of commitment all the Lorica team have put into providing an excellent service for the client."
Lorica Consulting launched Cube to LeasePlan in the latter half of 2009 as the new employee benefits portal. Cube was quickly assessed by LeasePlan as just the tool to deliver effective online services right across the group.
Lorica Online's Partnerships Manager, Matt Duffy commented: "Lorica has been a trusted adviser to LeasePlan and we knew that when we integrated all their rewards and benefits online, making them accessible to their employees, we were offering them something that was just not available elsewhere. It was a next step for LeasePlan and we are delighted that we have delivered so effectively."
